Deputy Speaker Ben Kalu Pays Mayor Igbokwe, Condolence Visit, Over Mother’s Demise
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has paid a condolence visit to Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (popularly known as Don Lulu) at his residence in Umueke -Umuyota, Umuawa Alaocha, Ohuhu- Umuahia, following the death of his beloved mother, Dame Peace Onyekwulechi Igbokwe.
Rt. Hon. Kalu, who led a distinguished delegation of political and business leaders from Abia State, offered heartfelt condolences to the Igbokwe family and encouraged them to take solace in God’s will. He described the late Dame Igbokwe as a virtuous woman whose life of faith and service left an enduring legacy.
During the visit, the Deputy Speaker reaffirmed his friendship and support for Mayor Igbokwe, praying that God would grant the family strength to bear the loss.
In appreciation, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Ben Kalu and his entourage for their solidarity, prayers, and comforting presence during this difficult period.
