OWU-Lagos Branch Confers Award of Community Development on Kpakpando

The Ohuhu Welfare Union (OWU), Lagos Branch, has conferred on High Chief Victor Ikeji, Ph.D. (Kpakpando Umuahia), Mborogwu Ohuhu Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to community service and development.

The award, named after Mborogwu — a potent herbal medicine known for curing serious ailments — symbolizes healing, strength, and resilience. In the same vein, High Chief Ikeji is celebrated as a pillar of support, a rallying point, and a source of inspiration for the Ohuhu people both at home and in the diaspora.

According to the Union, the honour reflects Dr. Ikeji’s unwavering love, commitment, and invaluable contributions toward the unity, growth, and progress of Ohuhuland.

His dedication to communal upliftment and consistent engagement in initiatives that promote the welfare of his people have continued to earn him admiration and respect across communities.
