High-Chief Victor Ikeji, Ph.D (Kpakpando-Umuahia) was today screened by the Nigeria Senate as the Abia State Commissioner nominee of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
He appeared for the screening in the company of key Abia leaders in the National Assembly — the Senator Representing Abia South, Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe; the Senator Representing Abia North, Sen. Orji Uzo Kalu and the Senator Representing Abia Central, Sen. Austin Akobundu, and the Member Representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Obi Aguocha;
The FCC Commissioner nominee was successfully screened today, Thursday, 11th December 2025 by the Senate committee on FCC awaiting confirmation by the general Senate.
