Former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano (Akpokuedike), has debunked rumours circulating about his wellbeing, affirming that he is alive, hale, and in excellent health.
Ex-Governor Obiano made the clarification this evening , Thursday, 14 November 2025, through a personal statement posted on his verified Facebook page.
In the statement, he described the rumour as unfortunate, noting that some individuals still take delight in spreading falsehood. He expressed gratitude to Ndi Anambra, friends, and well-wishers who reached out with calls, messages, and prayers, reassuring the public to disregard the unfounded speculation. Obiano added that he remains focused, grateful, and guided by God’s grace.
