Hon. Megadalene Ugoanusi Hosts Abia Arise Nkwoachara Stakeholders Meeting, As Hon. Akaliro Attends
The Senior Special Assistant on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, Hon. Megadalene Egondu Ugoanusi, on Sunday hosted the monthly stakeholders’ meeting of Abia Arise and Labour Party in Nkwoachara Ward as the member Representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency, Hon Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro Attends.

In her opening remarks, Hon. Ugoanusi urged all leaders and stakeholders in the ward to work together as a team to continue projecting and promoting the Alex Otti administration’s vision and achievements across Nkwoachara Ward. She emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and sustained grassroots engagement in advancing the development agenda of the present government.
The member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, who paid a surprise visit, encouraged stakeholders to mobilize residents without voters’ cards to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. He assured participants that he would liaise with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to facilitate the deployment of registration officials to Nkwoachara Ward to register eligible voters.
Also speaking, the Umuahia North Coordinator of Abia Arise, Mr. Ndukwe Sanchez, who accompanied Hon. Akaliro, commended the people of Nkwoachara for their unity of purpose and commitment to the ideals of the Abia Arise movement.
In their appreciation remarks, the Chairman of Nkwoachara Stakeholders Forum, Chief Chukwunenye Nwaubani, and the Ward Coordinator of Abia Arise, Mr. Chukwudike Abraham Zam, thanked Hon. Ugoanusi for generously hosting the meeting. They also appreciated Hon. Akaliro for his promise to liaise with INEC to bring registration officials to the ward and for pledging to host the next Nkwoachara Abia Arise general meeting.
The meeting was well attended by community leaders, party executives, and other notable personalities from across Nkwoachara Ward, reflecting the growing unity and support for the Abia Arise and Labour Party.
