OWU-UK Branch Donates Vehicles, Security Gadgets to Ohuhu Vigilante
The Ohuhu Welfare Union (OWU), United Kingdom Branch, has donated two mini-buses and various security gadgets to the Ohuhu Vigilante Services. The presentation was carried out through the leadership of the Ohuhu Welfare Union and the Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers.

Speaking at the handover, Royal High Chief Charles Onwuneme, the Traditional Prime Minister of Ohuhuland, who represented OWU-UK, said the donation was in response to an appeal made by the Ohuhu Security Services through the President-General. He stressed that Ohuhu indigenes in the UK deemed it necessary to support security efforts at home by providing vehicles and equipment to enhance the protection of lives and property.
In his remarks, the President-General of the Ohuhu Welfare Union, Chief Awazie Okechukwu Johnson, expressed deep appreciation to the UK branch for their generosity and prayed for God’s blessings upon them for remembering their roots.
Also, the Chairman of the Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers, HRH Eze Charles Ngwuli, commended the gesture, describing it as a noble act of service. He urged other Ohuhu sons and daughters in the diaspora to emulate the UK branch’s example.
Similarly, the Commander of the Ohuhu Vigilante Services, Chief Douglas Ukpabi, thanked the donors, noting that the support had reinvigorated his team and strengthened their commitment to safeguarding Ohuhuland.
