Hon.. Akaliro Hosts Women of His Constituency; Distributes Fertilisers | Ikoro 93.3fm
Hon. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, the honourable member representing Umuahia North ( Ohuhu) State Constituency, yesterday, Monday, 12th May, 2025, played host to women drawn from the five wards: Afugiri, Isingwu, Nkwoegwu, Nkwoachara and Umuhu within his constituency in his constituency office.
The meeting featured health talks from experts, where the women were educated on how to take care of their health by being proactive and taking steps that will ensure they remain healthy.
The women were taught how to regularly check their blood pressure and sugar levels, among others.
The high point of the event was the distribution of some 50kg of fertilisers to the women.
The lawmaker added that the few bags distributed to the women are for them to test run. He expressed plans to bring in more, however, he wants the women to try it on their farms and give him feedback.
The very elated women prayed for the lawmaker as they called on God to continue to manifest his grace upon him.
