PDP Lawmaker Collins Ugochukwu Defects to Labour Party in Abia
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is experiencing a setback in the Abia State Legislature, as Hon. Ugochukwu Collins, the lawmaker representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, has officially defected to the Labour Party (LP).
Hon. Ugochukwu’s defection was confirmed in a letter addressed to the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa. The letter was read during today’s plenary session.
It is worth noting that Hon. Lucky Johnson, who represents Isukwuiato State Constituency, previously defected from the PDP to the ruling Labour Party in the state.
