ADC Chieftain Meets Atiku Over 2027 Reps Ambition

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Abia State, Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi, has held a closed-door meeting with former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, as political consultations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, which took place at Atiku’s residence in Abuja, is part of Bahadur’s strategic engagements with key political stakeholders following growing calls from constituents in the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency urging him to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives under the ADC platform.

Sources close to the discussions revealed that Bahadur used the opportunity to present his vision for effective representation at the National Assembly.

He emphasized his commitment to grassroots development, youth empowerment, and the creation of sustainable economic opportunities across the constituency.

The ADC stalwart also pledged to pursue policies that would promote balanced development across Ikwuano, Umuahia North, and Umuahia South, if elected into office.
In his response, Atiku, who served as Nigeria’s Vice-President from 1999 to 2007, commended Bahadur for his proactive consultations and engagement with political actors across the country.

He advised the aspirant to remain focused, strengthen his grassroots ties, and maintain consistent dialogue with constituents as the 2027 elections approach.

The meeting is seen by observers as part of broader political consultations and realignments likely to shape party strategies and candidacies ahead of the next general elections.
