Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso, widely known as Ofuji Global, exemplifies why he is so celebrated as he honors Senior Citizen Ejikeme Ikwunze, affectionately called “Mr. Football,” with a belated birthday visit on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at his residence in Umuawa Alaocha, Ohuhu Umuahia, Abia State.
Ejikeme Ikwunze, also known as Mr. Football, is a prominent figure in Nigeria’s sporting community. He is a distinguished sports columnist, contributing insightful articles to various international sports publications as well as Nigerian newspapers.
Mr. Football has held esteemed positions, including Director of Sports for Abia State and President-General of the Ohuhu Welfare Union Worldwide. He recently celebrated his 70th birthday on May 13.
Ofuji and Mr. Football have maintained a close friendship online for many years, but they had never met in person until this visit.
To bridge the physical distance between them, Chima decided to surprise Mr. Football shortly after his milestone birthday celebration.
During the visit, Chima Anyaso offered fervent prayers to God, asking Him to grant Mr. Football healing and to use this occasion as a catalyst for his swift recovery.
