Happy Birthday Anniversary To The Eze-Elect Of Umuyota Autonomous Community, Chief Nlewedim (Sakwe) Iyioha; A Quintessential Leader

Some people are born great, others achieve greatness. For the man High-Chief Sonny Nlewedim, his life is an admixture of both. His life’s journey, thus far, is an embodiment of hard work, dedication, selflessness, discipline and humility.

Despite achieving greatness at a young age, you have remained humble and committed to your lifelong mantra of people above self.

This mantra has seen you dedicate yourself to community development through projects and human capacity development, amongst others. There is hardly any family in Alaocha, Ohuhu and even Umuahia that the name Sakwe does not resonate with it.

Through your company, Interbond, many families happily sourced for their livelihood. No wonder the people of the old Nkwochara Autonomous Community, which comprises Ohiya, Isingwu, and Umuawa (Alaocha na Alaike), conferred on you the rare and deserved title of “Iyioha”, “a river every member of the community draws from”.

Indeed you are a rare gem and pillar of hope and support to your people. No wonder your emergence as the Eze-Elect of Umuyota Autonomous Community was unanimously endorsed by our people. 97% Delegation votes and 100% Eze-in-Council Membership Endorsement.

The joy and realm of hope your emergence has rekindled amongst the people of Uyota and Umuawa-Alaocha is a testament to your personality and strength in character.

Our people have never been this united for a long while; the resounding support that has characterized your announcement as Eze-Elect is a reflection of the confidence and trust our people have in you.
