New Dawn in Awa, As Umuawa-Alaocha Youths Gets New Leadership

It’s a new Dawn in Umuawa-Alaocha as the youth wing of Umuawa-Alaocha Federated Union ( UFU) gets new leadership, today, Tuesday 21st January, 2025.

During the Inauguration of the new youth executive by the parent body held at the residence of the President -General, Comr. Chinenye Uwadi, he charged the new youth leadership to unite the youths to fight against the twin problem of cultism and drug abuse ravaging the community.

He advised them, not to polarize the community or unjustly take side.

The President -General further told the youths to always carrying the UFU leadership along in all they are doing, inorder to forge a synergy between the parent body and the youths.

The inaugurated youth executive which cut across the three blocs of Umuawa-Alaocha; Ogwara na Nkaru, Umuyota and Umuezerola includes;

Adindu Chizaram Lucky – President -General

Tochukwu Eluwa – Vice -President-General

Nnaemeka Ekechukwu- Secretary -General

David Christian – Treasurer

Ezechukwu Obinna- Assistant -General

Pst. Onyemachi Ikechi- Provost

In his response on behalf of inaugurated executive, the President, Adindu Chizaram Lucky thanked the people of Umuawa -Alaocha for finding him and his executive worthy to serve the people of Awa.

He assured them that, himself and his excos will come up with youth empowerment programs that will productively engage the youths inorder to deter them from cultism and drug abuse.

He also stated that , they will soon commence the visits of leaders and stakeholders in Umuawa to share some of their programs for the youths.

He used the avenue to plead with them to open their doors, so a new course for betterment of the youths will be chatted.

” By the grace of God and the support of leaders and the entire people of Umuawa, most especially the youths, we will justify the confidence reposed on us, he stated”.
