Hon. Akaliro Lays Foundation Stone for NSCDC Divisional Headquarters, He Attracted to His Constituency
The Honourable Member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency, Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro has laid the foundation stone for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Divisional Headquarters in Umuahia North LGA at Nkata-Alaike-Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu.
The groundbreaking ceremony for this project, which Hon. Akaliro attracted to his constituency, took place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
During the ceremony, he emphasized the significance of establishing a suitable headquarters for the NSCDC in Umuahia North, which will enhance the agency’s ability to protect national assets effectively.
Hon. Akaliro stated that, once completed, the divisional office will serve as the operational base for the security agency covering the entire Umuahia North area.
Top NSCDC officials from the state were also present at the ceremony.
