Ikenga, Umuosu -Nkwoegwu Autonomous Communities Confers Chieftaincy Titles On Nigerian Diplomat Ekeledo
Ikenga and Umuosu -Nkwoegwu Autonomous Communities came alive on the 31st of December, 2024 and 8th January, 2025 as HRH Eze Anosike Onuoha Ke 1 of Ikenga and HRH Eze Nzewata Mbakwe Egwu Uga 1 of Umuosu Autonomous Community conferred the titles of Adaoha and Ihie respectively on Nigerian Diplomat, Amb. Vanessa Ucheoma Ekeledo.
During the conferment of the title of Adaoha on Ambassador Ekeledo, at the palace of Ke 1 of Ikenga, Eze Anosike Onuoha, the monarch adduced that, the diplomat was found worthy of the title as result of her philanthropic gestures and contributions to societal development at large and her maternal home , Ikenga community in particular.
On his part, Egwu Uga, HRH Eze Nzewata Mbakwe posited that, the tile of Ihie was a tile unanimously agreed to be conferred on the the diplomat by the entire people of Umuosu Autonomous Community as a result of her enormous contributions to the growth and development of Umuosu community, Okaigua -Nkwoegwu, Ohuhu clan and society at large.
He further stated that, her title “Ihie” is strictly on merit and was not paid for.
” Amb. Uche Ekeledo, is woman I have known from her childhood. She has always been very passionate with helping others . Her title “Ihie is well deserved”. We are proud of her, she is a daughter worth having” he stated.
Amb. Ekeledo in her responses, thanked the monarchs and the entire people of Ikenga and Umuosu -Nkwoegwu for the honour. She assured them of her commitment to contributing to development of society and humanity in general.
