Mrs Jennifer Agbonma Ukaobasi, was born on the 15th September 1973 into the family of Mazi & Mrs Cooke Okoroafor of Umueleke, Mgboko in Egwulaeleke autonomous community, She started her early schooling at Okaiuga Nkwoegwu Central School and had her post primary education at Afugiri Girls’ Secondary School, Umuahia, she gained admission into faculty of law Abia state university Uturu in 1992 and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons)-1998.

Barrister Mrs Ukaobasi is a relationship and financial management expert with a proven track record and exposure in liability generation and credit risk management, the mother of three lovely children has acquired an enviable educational and professional record and today she is a high flyer in the financial sector and civil society space .
Barrister Mrs Jennifer Ukaobasi’s working experience has been a mixture of legal practice, banking and advocacy and she is currently the MD/CEO Alpha Kapital MFB Ltd Abuja, she started her professional career as a Legal Officer 1 COJA Secretariat, during the 8TH ALL AFRICA GAMES, in June 2001-May 2002 as a youth corper and thereafter moved to ABC Law Firm, Abuja where she became the chamber Head/Associate between February 2001- June 2001/May 2002-March 2004), Associate – Ikwueto [Law Firm], Abuja. (March 2004- December 2004), she however ventured into the banking sector as a trainee Banking Officer with Citizens International Bank Ltd in January 4 2005-June 13 2005, between June 13 2005-February 2008 she became the Relationship Officer – Retail & Personal Banking Intercontinental Bank Plc, Abuja, she also served as Special Assets / Loan Recovery Officer Intercontinental Bank Plc, she was promoted to the rank of a Branch/Relationship Manager – Retail & Personal Banking, Branch Manager, Ahmadu Bello Way Branch, Intercontinental Bank Plc, Abuja July 2009 – September 2011, she moved to Access Bank Plc Abuja in September 2011 – Jan 2012 where she assumed the role of the team Leader – Retail & Personal Banking Jos Street Branch Access Bank Plc, Abuja, by February 2012– October 22 2012 Mrs Jennifer Ukaobasi again moved to First City Monument Bank Plc, Abuja where she took up the role of Relationship Manager – Business Banking Group, being one who is not ready to give up on her training as a lawyer Mrs Jennifer Agbonma Ukaobasi in October 2012 established A.J Okorafor & Co. Custodian of Law, Solicitors and Advocates where she serves as the Principal Partner.
Barrister Ukaobasi is the Prime mover/Chairman of Gozac Projects Ltd and Trans-Orient Int’l Services Limited.
Despite her extremely busy schedule, she is also actively involved in advocacy and politics and devotes time to attend to her family and her most cherished passion, which is the renaissance of the Igbo nation and the advancement of the Nigerian youth, that explains the reason why she chose to belong to some pan Igbo groups and she is presently a member of Board of Trustee and the past President General of Oganihu Ndigbo Foundation and a Director of Rising Sun Agro Ltd wherein we invest in Farming within Ala Igbo primarily to empower Igbo youths through agriculture, she also partners with several CSO’s through Development Measures Global Networks (NGO) to deliver Trainings on Monitoring & Evaluation, Advocacy on good governance geared towards meeting the Sustainable Development Goals.
Barrister Ukaobasi is a trustee of Youth Emancipation and Rehabilitation Foundation (YERF), a Non-Governmental Organization with primary focus on advocacy and youth empowerment, former President General, Women in Politics Nigeria (WIPON), an organization charged with ensuring effective women representation in governance.
Barrister Mrs Jennifer Ukaobasi is a mother to three wonderful and lovely children, she is courageous with zero tolerance for indiscipline, laziness and dishonesty, she is eloquent and well-connected in the nation’s business circles and corporate world, a go getter and stickler for justice and fairness.
