Abia governorship aspirant and businessman, H.E Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) on Sunday, led stakeholders of the PDP in Umuahia North State Constituency (Ohuhu) on a condolence visit to the family of Late Eze Wilson Uwadi over the death of their son, brother and father, Prince Maduka Uwadi popularly known as Sariki.
The PDP leader in Ohuhu and Abia state commissioner of finance, Dr Aham Uko who spoke on behalf of the delegation expressed sadness over the demise of their colleague and friend.
He said the PDP family in Ohuhu, Umuahia and Abia in general is still in shock that the Umuawa-Aloacha born prince is dead.
The stakeholders urged the Uwadi family to take heart bearing in mind that their son lived an impactful life.
They assured the family that they will participate fully in giving the PDP chieftain a befitting burial.
Responding to the Ohuhu PDP delegation, the mother of the deceased, Ugoeze Uwadi appreciated them for coming to sympathize with her and the family .
She said she has accepted in good faith that her son is no more, even as his passing remains a painful experience for them.
The PDP delegation included H.E Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), Abia commissioner for Finance, Aham Uko Ph.D, Permanent Secretary, Chief Okey Ihedioha, Deputy Chief Whip and member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) state Constituency, Rt. Before the visit by the PDP delegation,Mayor Igbokwe had paid a private condolence visit to the family.
Mayor Igbokwe in his condolence message described the late prince Maduka as ever cheerful and and straightforward man, who will be sorely missed.
