A 28-year-old woman, Charity Anani, has died at a private hospital in Lagos after developing complications following the delivery of quadruplets.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred at a facility in the Igando area of Lagos, where the woman had been receiving treatment after giving birth on February 27, 2026. Reports indicate that the delivery involved both natural birth and a caesarean section due to complications.<\/p>\n
Family sources said the hospital bill rose to about \u20a63 million, which the family struggled to pay. This reportedly delayed their discharge as the newborns required intensive care, including oxygen support and incubator services.<\/p>\n
Her husband disclosed that on April 3, 2026, the woman developed breathing difficulties and was attended to by medical personnel but later died.<\/p>\n
