Nkwoachara LP Stakeholders Intensifies Efforts to Register More Party Members; Declares Support for Gov. Otti\u2019s Second Term Bid<\/p>\n

Nkwoachara Ward Labour Party stakeholders in Umuahia North LGA, in a well-attended meeting hosted over the weekend by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Magdalene Ugoanusi, have called on party members and faithful to intensify efforts to ensure maximum registration of household members, including tenants, in the ongoing party registration exercise.<\/p>\n

The LP stakeholders also during the meeting unanimously endorsed the Executive Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, for a second term in office.<\/p>\n

They cited the transformative leadership the state has witnessed under his administration as the basis for their endorsement.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the gathering, party members commended Governor Otti\u2019s administration, describing it as impactful and people-oriented.<\/p>\n

They highlighted ongoing infrastructural developments across the state, particularly the construction of modern healthcare centres in several communities, including Nkwoachara Ward.<\/p>\n

The stakeholders expressed confidence in the governor\u2019s leadership and pledged to deliver overwhelming votes in his favour during the 2027 governorship election, reaffirming their loyalty to both the governor and the party.<\/p>\n

In her remarks, Hon. Ugoanusi urged members to sustain grassroots mobilization by encouraging more people to join the Labour Party. She also called on eligible voters without Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise and advised those with PVCs to ensure proper validation with the Independent National Electoral Commission to avoid disenfranchisement.<\/p>\n

Also speaking, the councillor representing Nkwoachara Ward, Hon. Uchechukwu Rebuen Onyemachi; the LP Nkwoachara Stakeholders Chairman, Chief Chukwuneye Nwaubani; and Arc. Supreme High-Chief Uche Uzoanya, alongside other stakeholders, commended the governor\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

They urged all eligible residents to register with the Labour Party, noting that the governor has remained committed to delivery dividends of democracy to the people of Abia.<\/p>\n

They further called on members of the ward to vote overwhelmingly for Governor Otti come 2027 stressing that the state has not experienced such a level of governance since the 1999.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
