High-Chief Victor Ikeji, Ph.D (Kpakpando-Umuahia) as the Federal Character Commission (FCC) Commissioner representing Abia State, following his successful screening by the Senate Committee on the Federal Character Commission last week, Thursday, December 11, 2025.<\/p>\n
His confirmation came during plenary after the Senate considered and adopted the report of the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, which found him suitable for the appointment based on his qualifications, experience, and performance during the screening exercise. <\/p>\n
High-Chief Ikeji, a former Mayor of Umuahia North LGA and a seasoned administrator, was nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in line with the constitutional provisions governing the Federal Character Commission.<\/p>\n
