The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Barr. Julius Abure, on Thursday held a closed-door meeting in Abuja with renowned media entrepreneur and 2023 Abia PDP governorship aspirant, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu.<\/p>\n
Also in attendance were the Labour Party\u2019s Vice Chairman for the Southeast, Chief Ceekee Igara, and a former lawmaker representing Umuahia North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Kelechi Onwuzuruike.<\/p>\n
The high-profile gathering has triggered strong political speculations regarding a possible realignment ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Abia State.<\/p>\n
Mayor Igbokwe, who emerged as runner-up in the 2023 PDP governorship primaries, remains an influential voice in Abia\u2019s political and developmental landscape.
