A solemn atmosphere enveloped Umuawa-Alaocha Central School on Saturday as former Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mike Okiro (Rtd) joined prominent Abia businessman and philanthropist, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), and the Ndudim Abraham family in mourning the passing of businessman, Philip Ndudim.<\/p>\n

The funeral service, held to honor the late Philip Ndudim, who was a kinsman of Mayor Igbokwe and sibling to media consultant Charles Ndudim, California State Superior Court Judge David Ndudim, and US-based medical practitioner Dr. Mrs. Beaulah Iroegbu, and her husband, drew a large gathering of mourners from across the region.<\/p>\n

Okiro\u2019s presence underscored the deep respect held for the deceased and the strong sense of community solidarity. He joined Mayor Igbokwe in participating in the funeral rites, offering condolences and sharing in the family\u2019s grief.<\/p>\n

Adding to the list of dignitaries was Rt. Hon. Kelechi Onuzuruike, a former member of the Abia State House of Assembly, reflecting the widespread recognition of Philip Ndudim\u2019s impact.
