Hon. Akaliro Calls For Urgent Intervention On Okpara Road<\/p>\n
During the plenary session on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the honourable member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency, Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro moved a motion of urgent public importance regarding the deplorable condition of Okpara Road and Eme Bridge in his constituency.<\/p>\n
In his motion, Hon. Akaliro emphasized the economic significance of Eme Bridge and Okpara Road to both his constituency and the state as a whole. He noted that Okpara Road passes through several agrarian communities within his constituency; however, its poor condition is hindering food production and the transportation of agricultural products from these communities to the market.<\/p>\n
