Mayor Igbokwe (Don Lulu) Kicks off #1million Prize Money Ohuhu Unity League Sponsored by His Foundation; Amidst Funfare<\/p>\n

In a very colorful and well attended events, Ohuhu born Philanthropist, Businessman, Politician and United Nations Peace Ambassador, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu) officially kicked off and unveiled the trophy for the Ohuhu Unity League.<\/p>\n

Mayor Igbokwe while kicking off, the Ohuhu Unity League, Today Saturday, 23rd November, 2024 at the Umuawa-Alaocha Central School Field, Ohuhu -Umuahia stated that the league sponsored by his foundation is aimed at uniting the people of Ohuhu through sports.<\/p>\n

He urged the various participating teams and their supporters to shun drugs and violence and compete favourable as brothers.<\/p>\n

He called on the youths of Ohuhu to take the competition various seriously, as scouts will be around to spot exceptional talents who will play profession football.<\/p>\n

It is worthy of note, that the winner of the competition will be going home with a prize money of one million naira (#1,000,000), 1st Runner Up, five hundred thousand naira (#500,000), 2nd runner up two hundred and fifty thousand naira (#250,000) ,while other paticipating team will go home with a consolation prizes of one hundred thousand naira (#100,000) each.<\/p>\n

Some of the dignitaries present during the flag-off includes; Hon. Smart Ihuoma, the Mayor of Umuahia North LGA, the SSA to the governor on Ease of Doing Business, Barr. Agbonma Jenifer Ukaobasi, the representative of the Abia Commissioner of Youth and Sports, the traditional ruler of Umuawa -Alaocha Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Godswill Asumoha, Chief ,O.C Uwalaka, President -Generals of Ohuhu Communities, Youth leaders, football lovers and ethusiasts amongst others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
